Translating Avellin

Use Avellin’s built-in language packs or manual translation list for fixed theme text without editing the template XML.

Avellin includes a Theme Translations widget in Blogger Layout.

Spanish

Italian
Portuguese
Dutch

Select a built-in language

LANGUAGE: french

Use the language name shown in the widget.

Automatic detection

You can also use LANGUAGE: auto. Avellin will use the matching built-in language when available and use English when it is not.

Manual mode

For another language, set:

LANGUAGE: manual

Then enter translations after the equals signs in the manual list. Leave a value blank to keep English.

What the translation system does not translate

It does not translate your posts, pages, menu items, widget titles, image captions or other content you enter yourself. Those items remain under your direct control in Blogger.
