Élan includes several everyday reader features that work without extra setup. Use this guide as a final check so you know what is already included and what depends on your normal Blogger settings.
Search
The search icon opens Élan’s full-screen search. Visitors can search your published posts without you adding a separate search page.
On longer pages, a back-to-top button appears after the reader scrolls down. You can adjust its size, position and colors in Theme → Customize → Advanced → Back to Top.
Post sharing
Élan can show sharing buttons below individual posts when Blogger’s share option is enabled for the Blog Posts widget. Test the buttons on a published post before launch.
Author information
If your Blogger profile includes an author photo or About Me text, Élan can display an author card below individual posts.
Comments and replies
Élan styles Blogger’s normal comments, replies and comment form. Make sure comments are enabled on the posts where you want readers to respond.
Custom 404 page
If a visitor opens a URL that does not exist, Élan shows its own 404 page with links back to useful areas of the site. No separate 404 page needs to be created.
