Mira Vell is a Blogger theme. A clean installation is recommended so old theme widgets and markup do not interfere with the portfolio layout.
Before you begin: a clean theme-code installation removes widgets from the previous theme. Your Blogger posts and pages remain untouched. Save a backup of your current theme first if you may want to restore it.
1. Copy the Mira Vell XML
- Open the supplied Mira-Vell.xml file in a text editor.
- Select the complete file and copy all of the code.
2. Replace the current Blogger theme code
- In Blogger, go to Theme.
- Open the menu beside Customize and choose Edit HTML.
- Select all existing theme code and delete it.
- Paste the complete Mira Vell XML.
- Choose Save.
3. Open Layout
Go to Layout. You should see Mira Vell sections for the header, navigation, hero, portfolio homepage, sidebar, footer, Theme Options and Theme Translations.
4. Check the live theme
Open your blog in a new tab. The sample content and widgets provide a starting point, but the automatic portfolio areas depend on your own posts and labels.
