Post cards and featured images
Post cards use a 4:3 presentation. Choose a lead image with the main subject comfortably inside that crop.
Recipe category tiles
Homepage category tiles are square. Use centered compositions and avoid important details at the extreme edges.
About portrait
The homepage About image is portrait-oriented. A face or clear subject works better than a wide scene.
Missing images
If an image is missing, Avellin shows a simple “No image preview” placeholder instead of a broken-image icon.
Post-body Blogger images
The theme upgrades Blogger-hosted article images for responsive delivery and keeps later images lazy-loaded. Avoid hard-coded inline widths/backgrounds when possible so Avellin can control the responsive presentation cleanly.
