Avellin includes two newsletter areas: a Homepage Newsletter and a Sidebar Newsletter. Both can connect to email services that provide a signup form URL.
Homepage Newsletter
Open Homepage Newsletter in Layout. Its configuration uses:

text:Replace the URL with your provider’s form action. Add text after text: only when you want to replace the default sentence.
Sidebar Newsletter
Open the Stay Inspired HTML widget in the sidebar. Replace the placeholder URL with the newsletter form action URL.

The built-in forms work well with common services such as Mailchimp and Buttondown when they provide a simple signup form URL.
When the built-in form is not enough
If your email service requires its complete signup form or extra verification, paste the full embed code supplied by that service into a separate HTML widget.
Test before launch
Submit a real test address and confirm that the subscriber reaches your provider. A form that looks magnificent while sending email addresses into the void is still, technically, broken.
