- Every recipe intended for the index has the exact
Recipelabel. - Recipe posts also have at least one meaningful category label.
- Recipe-card classes have not been renamed.
- Jump to Recipe and Print Recipe work on a recipe post with a card.
- Recipe Index search, filters and pagination work.
Homepage
- The Featured Recipe shows the intended post.
- All six category tiles have correct images and label links.
- Seasonal Pick, About the Author and newsletter copy are yours rather than demo content.
- Latest Posts cards have suitable images.
Navigation and pages
- Desktop dropdowns and mobile dropdown toggles work.
- About, Recipes and Contact links resolve correctly.
- The Contact page uses your real email address in both email links, and its Recipes link points to the correct page.
- Footer legal links point to real pages or have been removed until ready.
Sidebar and forms
- Sidebar visibility matches the Theme Options settings for every page type you use.
- Newsletter form actions are real provider URLs and test submissions arrive.
- Sidebar search, labels and archive dropdown work.
Appearance
- Check light and dark mode on homepage, recipes, comments, pages, Recipe Index and footer.
- Test desktop, tablet and mobile widths.
- Check the site with at least one slow refresh so image fallbacks/loading behavior does not surprise you later.
Final backup
Once everything is ready, download a fresh backup of the customized Blogger theme. Future-you will consider this an act of profound kindness.
