Setting Up Social Links and Icons in Avellin

Configure Avellin’s navigation and footer social links and let the theme map supported network names to their icons.

Avellin uses Blogger Link List widgets for social profiles. The visible icon is chosen from the link name.

Navigation social icons

Go to Layout.
Open Navigation Social Icons.
Add the network name and full profile URL.
Save and check the navigation.

Footer social icons

Repeat the same process in Footer Social Links.

Recognized services

Avellin includes mappings for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Snapchat, Tumblr, Reddit, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Twitch, Spotify, GitHub, email and RSS.

Naming matters

Use a recognizable service name such as Instagram, Pinterest or YouTube. Unknown names fall back to a generic link icon.
