Creating a Contact Page in Arden

Create Arden’s Contact page and connect it to the retained native Blogger Contact Form.

Arden uses Blogger’s built-in Contact Form and shows it automatically on the Contact page you choose in the Theme options widget.

1. Create the Contact page

  1. Go to Pages → New page.
  2. Name it Contact.
  3. Switch to HTML view.
  4. Paste the supplied starter below.
  5. Publish.
<p class="mv-eyebrow">Start a conversation</p>
<p>Tell me about your work, what you are hoping to change, and the support you are looking for. Let’s explore the next step together.</p><!-- Add your response time here. -->
<h2>A few useful details</h2>
<ul><li>Your project or area of focus</li><li>Your ideal timing</li><li>The service you are interested in</li></ul>
<!-- Add your business email link using Blogger's link tool, or an external booking link here. -->

2. Open the Theme options widget

Theme options is a widget included with Arden. In Blogger, go to Layout and click the Theme options widget to open its settings.

Find this line:

contact-path: /p/contact.html

If your Contact page opens at /p/contact.html, leave the line as it is. If Blogger gives your Contact page a different address, replace only /p/contact.html with the address of your published Contact page, then save the widget.

3. Test the Contact Form

Open the published Contact page and send yourself a real test message. Arden uses Blogger’s built-in Contact Form, so the message is sent through Blogger.

4. Add another way to get in touch

If you want, you can also add your email address or a booking link to the page so visitors have another contact option.
