Editing the Élan Homepage Image Boxes

Replace the three homepage featured-link cards with your own images, titles, captions and destinations.

Élan’s three homepage image boxes are standard Blogger Image widgets inside the Landing Featured Links section. The demo begins with three cards, and the section allows up to three widgets.

Edit an image box

  1. Go to Blogger → Layout.
  2. Find Landing Featured Links.
  3. Edit one of the Image widgets.
  4. Replace the image.
  5. Change the widget title.
  6. Set the link destination.
  7. Use the caption for the smaller supporting text.
  8. Save the widget.

What each field controls

  • Image: the card background image.
  • Title: the main text shown in the card overlay.
  • Caption: the smaller supporting line.
  • Link: where the entire feature card sends the visitor.

Keep the three cards consistent

For the cleanest result, use images with a similar visual style and enough resolution to crop comfortably. The theme crops them to the configured feature height, so avoid placing important details right against the edges.

Change the design

Under Theme → Customize → Advanced → Homepage Image Boxes, Élan exposes settings for section width, card gap, bottom margin, image height, overlay width, overlay padding, outline size, panel background and typography.
