Setting Up the Élan Instagram Feed with Behold

Connect Behold to Élan’s footer and display up to six Instagram posts.

Élan’s footer Instagram strip connects through Behold. You only need to paste your Behold feed URL into the supplied Instagram widget.

Step 1: Create a Behold feed

  1. In Behold, connect the Instagram account you want to display.
  2. Create a feed for that account.
  3. Copy the feed URL. It should begin with https://feeds.behold.so/.

Step 2: Add the feed to Élan

  1. Go to Blogger → Layout.
  2. Find the footer Instagram Feed section.
  3. Edit the Instagram HTML widget.
  4. Leave the instruction block in place.
  5. Replace only the feed URL on the final line.
  6. Save.

Step 3: Check Behold domain settings

If Behold Domain Whitelist is enabled, add your blog’s public domain to the whitelist.

What appears on your site

Élan can show up to six Instagram posts in the footer. Each image links back to the original Instagram post.

If the Instagram strip does not appear

Check that you replaced the placeholder with the correct Behold feed URL and that your blog domain is allowed in Behold. Élan hides the section when no Instagram posts can be displayed.
