Labels have two jobs in Mira Vell: some trigger theme behavior, while others describe content.
Reserved functional labels
- Project — turns a post into portfolio work.
- Featured, Featured Story, Featured Stories — treated as functional labels and omitted from portfolio discipline filters.
Meaningful project labels
Use labels such as Branding, Art Direction, Web Design, Editorial, Packaging and Photography to describe the work. Mira Vell can use these labels for visible project metadata, related work and Work archive filters.
Journal labels
Journal posts can use normal topical labels, but should not carry the Project label unless you want them to move into the portfolio system.
Consistency matters more than quantity. Reuse a small set of clear labels instead of creating near-duplicates.
