Editing the Avellin Homepage Recipe Categories

Replace Avellin’s six homepage recipe-category images, names and links from Blogger Layout.

Avellin’s Homepage Recipe Categories section contains up to six Image gadgets. The default set is Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Baking, Desserts and Vegetarian.

Edit a category tile

  1. Go to Layout.
  2. Find Homepage Recipe Categories.
  3. Open one of the Image gadgets.
  4. Change the widget title to the category name.
  5. Upload or select the category image.
  6. Set the link to the matching Blogger label page.

Keep labels consistent

If the tile says Breakfast, posts intended for that category should use the exact Breakfast label. This keeps the homepage category, post category and Recipe Index filter aligned.

Image recommendations

The tiles are square, so use images with the main subject near the center. If no image is available, Avellin shows a simple placeholder instead.
